Job Title: Asst. Project manager

Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in A/V Projects.

Summary:
The Audiovisual Assistant Project Manager works closely with the Audiovisual Project Manager to support the successful implementation of audiovisual projects. They assist in planning, organizing, and executing AV projects, ensuring that they meet the specified requirements and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Diploma Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Audiovisual Technology, Project Management) is preferred.
- Proven experience in AV implementation, Technology and project management.
- Proficiency in AV control system and able to assist AV Programmer for on Site Programming Related work..
- Strong knowledge of audio and video equipment, signal processing, and system integration.
- Should have Basic Know-how of Network Deployment and Network Infrastructure with networking principles and protocols relevant to AV system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in AV technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Industry certifications, are a plus.
- Should have good operation skills of computer and Ability to draft various types of E-Mails.
- Should be Disciplined and Maintain good peer to peer relations
- Flexibility to work outstations for short or long time Durations.
- Ability to Manage Small Team of 4-5 Jr. AV Engineers/Technicians
- Ability to effectively Read Schematics, Site Layouts and Various drawings provided during execution
- Reporting to Project Managers
Key Responsibilities:
1) System Integration:
- Support the integration of various AV components and devices under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist in connecting and troubleshooting audio and video sources, such as laptops, media players, and recording equipment.
- Ability to Read Schematics and Making the necessary Connectivity and verifying the same
- Excellent Rack Dressing Skills
2) Technical Expertise:
- Configure AV control systems, such as Crestron, AMX, or Extron, to enable user-friendly control and automation.
- Assist in setting up and configuring audiovisual equipment and systems.
- Configure video systems, including projectors, displays, and video conferencing equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support during Installations
- Ensure that all AV equipment is in working order and maintained properly.
3) Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with the Audiovisual Project Manager to plan and execute AV projects.
- Assist in defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.
4) Client Communication:
- Communicate with clients or stakeholders to understand their AV requirements and expectations.
- Keep clients informed about project progress and address any concerns or changes in requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, timelines, and any potential issues.
5) Documentation:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
- Create and update technical documentation for AV systems and equipment.
6) Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conduct rigorous testing of AV systems to ensure proper functionality, performance, and adherence to design specifications.
- Address and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies in the system.
7) Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AV technicians, IT personnel, etc.
- Provide guidance and support to team members during project execution.
8) Training and User Support:
- Train end-users on how to operate AV equipment and systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.
9) Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all safety regulations and protocols are followed during project execution to maintain a safe work environment.
10) Stay Updated:
- Keep abreast of emerging audiovisual technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Attend training sessions and seminars to enhance technical knowledge.
An Audiovisual Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of audiovisual projects, contributing to the organization’s effective communication and presentation capabilities.
Working Conditions:
The job may require irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support Installations and projects. It will also involve travel, and Short or Long Outstation Stays depending on project locations.
