Job Title : Junior Audio Visual Technician.

Department : Technical Installation / Service group.

Experience : Minimum 6 months exp. or fresher can also apply.

Summary:
A Junior Audio Visual Technician is an entry-level position in the field of audiovisual technology. These professionals provide essential support in setting up, operating, and maintaining audiovisual equipment and systems in various settings, including conference rooms, event venues, and educational institutions. Qualifications:

  • Diploma or equivalent; coursework or certifications related to AV technology is a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with audiovisual equipment and technology.
  • Enthusiasm for building a career in the audiovisual industry and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions from senior team members.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport AV equipment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to support project installations.
  • Flexibility to work outstations for short or long time Durations.
  • Should be Disciplined and Maintain good peer to peer relations


    Working Conditions:
    The job may require irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support Installations and projects. It will also involve travel, and Short or Long Outstation Stays depending on project locations.


    Key Responsibilities:


    1) Equipment’s installation and Handling:
  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and placement of audiovisual equipment, including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, cameras, and control systems etc.
  • Learn to operate and troubleshoot AV equipment during installation, meetings, or presentations to ensure seamless audio and video performance.
  • Learn to use Various Tools and Tackles like Drill machine etc.


    2) Cable Management:
  • Cable Laying
  • Help manage, organize audio and video cables and maintain a tidy and professional setup.


    3) Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
  • Participate in routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functionality and upkeep of AV equipment.
  • Learn to diagnose and resolve technical issues and equipment malfunctions under the guidance of senior technicians.


    4) Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to clients, presenters, and users before, during Project Cycle.
  • Assist in instructing users on the basic operation of AV equipment and setup procedures.


    5) Testing and Quality Control:
  • Assist in conducting equipment tests and quality checks before handover to ensure that all AV systems are functioning correctly.
  • Assist in verifying that audio levels, video resolutions, and other settings meet client requirements.


    6) Health and Safety:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling AV equipment and electrical connections.
  • Learn to ensure that AV setups and installations meet safety standards.


    7) Documentation:
  • Assist in maintaining records of AV equipment inventory, installation schedule and On Site Records.
